The Dairymaster Swiftflo Revolver has two drive units. Each unit
has a variable speed motor and reduction drive gearbox.
Electric drive results in more precise control and quicker braking compared with hydraulic systems as quick deceleration is possible. One drive unit is adequate to run the platform, however two are supplied as standard for increased reliability.
